When we team up with the ladies at Ivory and Beau, we know it’s going to be an incredible day! Not only are they a wedding planning and florist company, but they also own a bridal boutique. So they are experts when it comes to creating unique weddings and events! They wanted to create a classy-but-fun backyard party for this shoot, complete with laid-back details, while still being fashionable.
As they started to plan this shoot, they reached out for some of our rentals, and we had so much fun helping them style the afternoon. They had a ceremony at their Floral Lab early in the afternoon, in their cute backyard. For guest seating, they used our bamboo chairs, which added some soft wood tones. Our new copper sign sat at the entrance of the ceremony. This sign can be draped with paper or fabric signs and is perfect for giving directions or greeting guests! We also have a growing inventory of rugs, including patterned and solid pieces. These are perfect for ceremonies and receptions and adding color to lounges.
The day was all about texture and a little bit of bohemian flair. Our bride had fresh baby breath pinned into her blue ombre hair. Her textured lace gown looked beautiful with her wildflower bouquet, which felt like it was handpicked from a garden. Instead of traditional bouquets, the bridesmaids had wicker baskets filled with fresh blooms. It was so unique!
After the intimate ceremony, a private dining table was set up for the wedding party to dine. Amber beer bottles were filled with fresh flowers, and touches of color were added with our glass goblets. Similarly, the modern white and gold silverware paired nicely with the vintage china, which had touches of amber and yellow flowers.
We love how they styled our dark wooden pieces, like our Brighton Buffet and Mahogany Buffet. One was used as a cake table, and the other as a unique bar setup. The bride changed into a sparkly sequined dress for the reception, and they headed to Finches Sandwiches for a sunset session. This cute restaurant has the coolest decor and a handpainted mural by local artist Kipper Millsap. It added such a fun pop of color! We love how our pieces were used for this shoot. The modern pieces and vintage classics paired well together and created a unique mix.
No matter where your wedding is, from a backyard to a hotel, our rentals at Savannah Vintage & Event Rentals can help put it all together! In fact, we offer a large inventory, including seating, furniture, ceremony arches, and more. Check out our inventory, or contact us to start your quote!
