One of the most popular colors of 2022 is all about joy! Yellow has continued to be popular as a pop of color in weddings and events, and we love how it adds a fun splash to events. The great thing about yellow is that there are so many different ways you can style it. There are also several different shades, so you can pick the best one for your taste and theme. We wanted to share a few different ways we’ve seen the color yellow styled over the last 8 years working in luxury wedding rentals. Our inventory includes so many colors, and you can view our extensive lounge inventory list by color, so you pick the shades you love.
If you want to use yellow as the focal color and add in some rust tones for a hint of fall, you will love this palette! The energetic yellow pairs well with reds and oranges and makes for an affair that is bold and beautiful. For this styled shoot, the color focal point was placed with the flowers, while the furniture was neutral to let the colors really pop.
For the lounge, we used our Victoria Settee, which is a beautiful vintage piece in a champagne fabric. Katie Esser Designs created the most incredible arrangements, including a larger-than-life floral garland that hung over the awning at Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens.
The three-tier yellow, gold, and orange ombre cake by Rum Runners Bakery sat atop our White Chalkboard Vanity. This vintage piece is perfect as a cake table since it also features “How sweet it is to be loved by you.” It’s certain to be the sweetest spot at any event! The pops of yellow continued into the reception space, where crisp white linens were topped with fresh lemons and marigold napkins. It really combined so many beautiful colors into a sophisticated affair!
While we love a bold yellow pop, a marigold hint can add in this popular color without it being the focal point. For this styled bridal editorial by 5 D Photography, they wanted to mix marigold with sage green and blush pink. They chose our Layla Chair for a soft marigold velvet accent. It paired well with our Princess chair and Faux Marble End Table. The mix of soft fabrics and pastel colors worked perfectly!
If you are looking for something a little moodier, where yellow really pops, pair it with black and white! For this charity event, the SD Gunner Fund tasked Ivory & Beau to create a night people would never forget! This annual event, called the Savannah Carnival, raises money to provide assistance to veterans, first responders, and special needs children through the training and adoption of service animals.
The event took place at The Clyde Venue, which features modern details like concrete walls, a black ceiling, and a black marble bar. The tables were covered in layers of linens, from a champagne base to a lace topper and a yellow runner. Our modern Matte Black Stone Plates were paired with Blue Goblets and tapered candles for a mix of vintage and contemporary.
From big details to small, we are here to help you with them all! We love to work with your color palettes to create something unique. Our rentals are available if you are planning a wedding, an intimate elopement, or a large event for your business. We can’t wait to hear from you.
